Website information

Website content is general information only. Product details, colours, specifications, stock and availability can change. Photos and swatches may vary from actual product appearance, and customers should confirm important details before ordering.

No automatic contract

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract or guarantee product availability, installation booking, price or timing. A job proceeds only after written quote, invoice, acceptance and payment terms are confirmed.

Product information and colours

Product images are indicative only. Colour can vary by screen, lighting, batch and supplier photography. Stock, batch, specifications and lead time must be confirmed before order. Customers should request samples or product confirmation where colour accuracy is important.

Quotes and estimates

Quotes are based on information available at the time. A quote may change after site inspection, measurement, product confirmation or preparation review. Any validity period should be stated in the formal quote. Online or enquiry estimates are not final unless confirmed in writing by Oz Timber Floor.

Site conditions and preparation

Final cost, timing or suitability may be affected by subfloor flatness, moisture, existing flooring removal, floor levelling, trims and transitions, skirting or scotia, stairs, furniture moving, access, parking, lifts, strata rules, delivery limitations, builder handover timing, power, water, site readiness, defects or hidden site conditions.

Supply-only enquiries

For supply-only enquiries, the customer is responsible for checking quantity, wastage and suitability unless Oz Timber Floor confirms otherwise in writing. Products should be checked before installation. Claims about obvious damage or shortage should be raised before product is installed. Supplier or manufacturer terms may apply, and returns, cancellations or restocking may depend on supplier policy.

Supply + install services

For supply + install work, the customer must provide safe access and the site must be ready on the agreed date. Delays caused by other trades, access issues, moisture or preparation concerns may affect schedule or cost. Variations should be confirmed in writing. Installation suitability depends on site condition and product requirements.

Payments

Deposit, progress payment or final payment terms will be set out in the quote or invoice. Products may need to be paid for before ordering. Overdue amounts may delay delivery, installation or handover where legally permitted.

Cancellations and changes

Please notify Oz Timber Floor as early as possible if you need to cancel or change an enquiry, product order or installation date. Custom or special-order products may not be cancellable once ordered. Supplier cancellation or restocking fees may apply. Installation date changes depend on availability.

Warranties and consumer guarantees

Manufacturer warranties may apply to products. A workmanship warranty may apply only where Oz Timber Floor performs installation and confirms those terms. Nothing in these terms limits rights under Australian Consumer Law. Consumer guarantees cannot be excluded where they apply.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Oz Timber Floor is not responsible for indirect loss, delays outside reasonable control, customer-supplied measurement errors, unsuitable product selection made without confirmation, or issues caused by site conditions not disclosed before quote or installation. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
