FAQs
These answers help prepare a useful enquiry before product selection or installation planning.
Many hybrid products are marketed for strong water resistance, but performance depends on the exact flooring option, installation and room conditions. Ask about suitability for your space before ordering.
No flooring should be installed over a poor substrate without checking requirements. Hybrid floors need a suitably flat and stable base.
Yes. Oz supports supply-only enquiries, stock checks and supply + install enquiries. Include product range, colour, square metres and suburb.
Often, but the product should match traffic level, cleaning routine, acoustic rules and installation conditions. Commercial spaces should be discussed before ordering.

Hybrid flooring combines a printed design layer with a rigid composite core. SPC means stone polymer composite; WPC means wood plastic composite. These describe the core construction, not a guarantee of room suitability or performance.
Laminate generally uses a wood-fibre core, while flexible vinyl has a different construction and installation method. Engineered timber has a real timber surface. Compare the exact product, thickness, underlay requirements and subfloor condition before choosing.
Water-resistance claims apply to the selected product and its installation conditions, not automatically to the whole room. Ask us to confirm the manufacturer’s instructions before specifying wet areas, extra underlay or commercial use.
Compare laminate, vinyl and engineered timber, or send your room details for advice.
